Begun in 1940, “First View of the Valley” has recently been refurbished and is now being shown for the first time. The exhibit will include other western works as well as some special

sketches that have not been shown before.  The show was requested by Mr. Friberg to be

shown prior to Thanksgiving to add to the unique seasonal activities at the cultural center.

The exhibit consists of approximately 14 original paintings and sketches. The gallery will be

open extended hours during this extraordinary short term exhibit. The last time Mr. Friberg

had a major exhibit in Utah was in 2006 with the showing of the “Ten Commandments”

exhibit at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center.
