Salomon Center

Men's Journal (March, 2007) recognized Ogden's Salomon Center as one of the world's top ten man-made adventures. It offers a wide assortment of adventure activities, including the remarkable iFly wind tunnel.

 

Attractions Include:

• iFLY Utah - This is a vertical wind tunnel when people can literally fly
• FLOWRIDER - Wakeboarding, surfing, and boogie boarding on an indoor river
• FatCats - Fun center offers bowling, billiards, arcade games, bumper cars, mini golf, food and more
• Plus a Climbing Wall, Gold's Gym, Megaplex 13 Theatres, restaurants and more

 

The iFly wind tunnel provides a simulated sky-diving experience. By angling hands, arms and legs, participants can literally fly in the air current, ascending, descending and moving from side to side. The Salomon Center facility is one of only a dozen such wind tunnels currently operating in the world.

The FlowRider is an indoor artificial sheet wave surfing environment for boogie boarders and surfers. Even if you don't want to jump in and give it a try, it's worth stopping by to watch. It's usually a good show.

The Salomon Center also houses a 17-person climbing wall, a fitness center, a bowling alley and arcade, mini golf, billiards, three restaurants and a sports bar.
