Date Night in Utah Valley

Utah Valley is a great place for romance. With 2 universities and a large teenaged population, romance is alive and well. Even better, romance can go from being on a tight budget to really splurging  on a special occasion.

Young people like to go to fun places in groups. Great locations for these include Noah's which is a large facility that can be rented by room, by game, or by event.

Other great romantic dates could be dinner and a movie. University Mall has several national chain restaurants including PF Chang's China Bistro, The Old Spaghetti Factory, and California Pizza Kitchen. After a nice meal, you can head over to the new Cinemark theaters.

Hale Center Theater offers affordable productions, and who better to see them with than your sweetie. Other great theaters in Utah Valley are at Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University. UVU's theater department has clever and fresh plays and appeals to the college crowd. Pleasant Grove has The Grove Theater, and each high school in the Utah Valley has a drama department.

Somewhere Inn Time, a Lindon bed and breakfast, has beautifully appointed romantic suites for a special night away from regular life. Just down the street is the ever popular restaurant Los Hermanos. Pizza Factory sits across from Los Hermanos and is an excellent alternative if you prefer Italian food to Mexican food.

If you only have a sweet treat in mind, you might consider Cold Stone Creamery for delectable frozen treats. Other locations that cater to delectable desserts are Hogi Yogi (with 2 Orem locations) or Tomasso's Italian Ice in the Riverwoods in Provo.
